Situation: studies
A student CV targeted for each internship, work-study or job offer
A student CV highlights your projects, internships and education, adapted to each internship, apprenticeship or first-job offer. Near future. The sorting machines demand ten years of experience; the student arrives with projects, internships and an education. Declare yourself a student: ATSway focuses on what the offer asks and on what your path already demonstrates.
What you gain
- 1
A diagnosis at the scale of your beginnings
The diagnosis focuses on what matters for a first job.
- 2
Your projects and internships up front
Your CV highlights what you really did: projects, internships, education, certifications and languages with their level.
- 3
One CV per offer
You write your path once, and each internship, work-study or job offer draws its version from it.
Declare your situation
At sign-up or in the settings, choose “Student”. The weak points diagnosis then adapts to a first job.
An internship counts fully
A three-month internship or a summer job is an experience in its own right. The diagnosis picks out what really weighs for your application.
Projects, internships, education up front
Your projects, internships and education speak for you. Your master CV holds the sections for projects and contributions, education and certifications, and languages with their level. The more precise these sections, the richer the adaptation to each offer.
Between education and the first job
An interval between the end of studies and a first job is presented differently from a break between two jobs: the interview preparation takes this into account.
An example of a student CV
Fictional example: a management student with two internships, a student-association project and B2 English. Their master CV holds these entries, with their dates and achievements. For a finance internship offer, ATSway highlights the internship closest to it with the offer's words when the facts justify it.
The human with the expired badge started the same way: with internships and projects, before the machine issued them a badge.
Targeting each offer
For each internship or job, read the offer with the keywords of an offer, then compare it with your CV using the comparison of your CV with the offer. The adapted CV takes up the advert's words where your projects and internships justify them.
What to put in an early-career CV
Everything that shows what you can do: internships, summer jobs, course projects, association projects, contributions, certifications, language levels. For each entry, note what you did and what it led to: a modest but exact result beats a vague phrase. Your master CV holds everything, whatever its length.
An internship often asks for basics and motivation; a work-study placement, a schedule and a project; a first job, proof that you can hold a position. Polish the achievements that speak to each type of offer.
