Audit

Improve your CV, sentence by sentence

Improving your CV means fixing every sentence that weakens your career story: dates, bullets, skills. Near future. Before targeting an offer, ATSway rereads your master CV the way a demanding recruiter would, or a ruthless sorting machine. Each point is attached to the sentence concerned, with the suggested fix.

What you gain

  • 1

A CV reread by a demanding eye

You see what a recruiter would notice, before they do: a date, a bullet to complete with a result, a skill to illustrate.

  • 2

    The fix before your eyes

Each point comes with a before and an after side by side: you decide, point by point.

  • 3

A solid base for what follows

A well-kept master CV improves every tailored CV, every letter and every interview preparation.

What the audit picks out

The audit picks out what can be improved: a date, a title or a summary to complete, an experience to flesh out, bullets to sharpen, skills to illustrate. It also reads the CV as a whole, so that titles, durations and bullets tell the same story.

Before, after: you decide

For each point, the before and after appear side by side. You apply the fix, ignore it or find the passage in the CV. Your CV changes with your agreement.

What makes a good bullet

A result beats a responsibility: “Cut order processing time from 5 days to 48 hours” says more than “Responsible for order follow-up”. A figure measures an impact, precise wording speaks to one profile, and consistency is judged on the whole: title, duration and bullets tell the same story.

An example before / after

The human with the expired badge saw their bullets move from responsibilities to results. A fictional bullet from the master CV: “Responsible for order follow-up.” If your CV contains the fact, the fix can be:

Before: Responsible for order follow-up.

After: Cut order processing time from 5 days to 48 hours.

When the delay is absent from your CV, the audit invites you to complete it yourself.

A Health score

The Health score sums up the state of your master CV. It feeds the ATSway score against an offer: see compare your CV to an offer.

Fixes faithful to your CV

The audit improves the wording, and the facts stay yours, in the spirit of rewrite your CV with AI.

In which order to fix

Start with the alerts, the most visible. Move on to the bullets of recent experiences, then to skills to illustrate. Keep the summary for last: it is easier to rewrite once the rest is settled. The audit works on your master CV and helps as soon as a CV has just been imported or written.
