1. The starting profile
2. The offer and its requirements
They paste the advert for a digital marketing manager post. ATSway separates the essential from the nice-to-have and picks out the keywords:
- essential: email campaigns, open-rate analysis, marketing automation;
- nice to have: Brevo proficiency, SEO basics.
The detail is on the page about the keywords of an offer.
3. The CV against the offer
ATSway compares each requirement with the career, one by one. See compare your CV to an offer.
| Requirement | Status |
|---|---|
| Email campaigns | Covered |
| Open-rate analysis | Covered |
| Marketing automation | To strengthen |
| Brevo (nice to have) | Covered |
| SEO basics (nice to have) | To strengthen |
4. The points to strengthen
The essential requirement “marketing automation” is the point to work on first. See the weak points of a CV.
5. The rewording kept
The candidate's experiences match requirements of the offer, in other words. ATSway suggests a rewording:
Before: Created and sent newsletters in Brevo.
After: Created and sent email campaigns in Brevo.
Only the facts of this CV enter the result. See rewrite your CV with AI.
6. The letter
The letter is written from the tailored CV, in the tone of the advert. An extract:
In my current role, I create and send email campaigns in Brevo every month and track their open rates; this is the work I want to deepen with you.
See the cover letter.
7. An interview question and its answer
For the point to strengthen, ATSway prepares the question and the answer:
Possible question: your experience in marketing automation is still to be built; how do you plan to develop it?
Answer: automation is a field I am developing, [what you have already approached in automation, to complete]. I created, sent and tracked campaigns in Brevo, with their open rates: this is the base on which the automation you ask for is built.
The bracket is the candidate's: they fill it in. See prepare your interview.
8. The final PDF
The PDF export is free. Here is what the text extracted by a PDF reader looks like:
Fictional candidate — Digital marketing manager
Professional experience
Communications officer — March 2021 — Present
Created and sent email campaigns in Brevo.
Tools: Brevo
Each bullet stays under its job, and each date next to its title. See an ATS-friendly CV.
9. The same CV, in English
If the offer is written in English, they pick English as the target language and the tailored CV is translated in full, tool names kept:
Before: Création et envoi de campagnes emailing dans Brevo.
After: Created and sent email campaigns in Brevo.
What changes for the human with the expired badge
For each offer, they get a tailored CV, a letter written from that CV, the list of what a recruiter might notice, answers prepared for the interview, a readable PDF and a tracking card with their follow-up date. They also know what their CV is missing and decide to complete it. Facing the machine, they arrive with a complete file.
And if your situation is particular?
The same journey exists for a career change, a return to work or a student CV. The situation you declare adjusts the weight of the points raised.
